Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Rurik hails from a village terrorized by giants. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born in the west to a Cook, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cook. Recently the stress of being a Cook has made it difficult for him to sleep.
