History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Naal was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This northern man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His clothes are grease stained in places. His long white crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has red eyes.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Heskan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Heskan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle
