Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many white ritualistic tattoos. He wears yellow painted combat armor at almost all times. He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tod was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Tod was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tod's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Tod and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he very much looks the part of a Detective. His hair is short and red. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Roger was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Miner again; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 2'11". He dresses well, wearing blue shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, and his gloved hand is found clutching a hand crossbow. His auburn hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Howard embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: An older man who is well dressed, constantly wearing a pastel suit, brown shirt, and red tie, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is cut short. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Miner soon after.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has styled his copper crest well, parting it to the right. This red eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
