Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Rolf liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a shortspear and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A middle-aged man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and is pretty ugly. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sweet hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Aerdeth lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
