History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Bhevek's homeland. Bhevek decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
