History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ortegar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ortegar. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. During his travels, Fonkin and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Fonkin discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Fonkin fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gennal studied abroad. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.
