He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, red shirt, and yellow tie. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bow and armor he uses now. He's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Koeth is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

One day when Koeth was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Koeth was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them.
