History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in a small island village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: Thorpe was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his axe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
