History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pandjed grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pandjed grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pandjed. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Beggar arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He tends to his Beggar job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
