History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. History: Born in the west to a Tanner, Heian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to work out more often

Personality: Merihim speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Merihim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Through the years after Thorpe was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Thorpe's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
