History: He was born into a rich family. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He now owns his own business.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time, and is pretty ugly. His brown hair is thinning but still full. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is an amazing painter.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: 5'1" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a white costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He has moderate length chestnut hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gold eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Ghaliver was born with his mother's beautiful face. After coming to the age of reason, Ghaliver took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
