Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bounty Hunter, and he later adopted a second son.

Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
