History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents enrolled him in a Bard school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content
