History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Valafar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against orcs
