Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Varis was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Duergath embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Duergath hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
