History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Bertram is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Shane was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Shane's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.
