History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Smoking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Adventurer who has hired him part-time. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He got into the Adventurer business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He tends to his Adventurer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Koeth grew up listening to his father's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
