History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This late middle aged man typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor and is in decent physical shape. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length orange fur. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He takes great joy in being the best Farmer in town.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Quarion took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
