Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Balimaar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Balimaar was born the youngest of three triplets. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Bookbinder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Himo lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He tends to wear a large grey jacket. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. With bright white hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
