History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting brigands, the young Thorpe began to lead the lost caravan. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many brigands want him driven away

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
