History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born to a Ploughman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). During his travels, Theriatis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theriatis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theriatis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Kelter has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is greedy

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently the stress of being a Butcher has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
