Description: A middle-aged man, he wears long strands of amethyst and short white dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, and is pretty ugly. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Veit grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Veit. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Ratak lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: He wears a simple pastel robe with brown stripes complete with hood. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He is baby faced.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was born into a rich family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Architect. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
