History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Qualen was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Shipwright. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears dull brown sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed shortbow, just in case. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His golden hair is thinning but still full. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shipwright born in the past three hundred years. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His childhood dream was to be a Bellfounder, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Bellfounder again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his halberd with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his right hand. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to reunite with his absent mother
