History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Balam was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
