One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Doctor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Gardener work with an outfit from a few towns over. Gardener work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Gardener like his father before him.

History: Veit was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Veit grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Veit. After months of barely getting by, Veit managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
