History: Born to a Crown-heir, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has worked as a Sage like his mother before him.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Baradad was born with his father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Brewer father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Naal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Great was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and to be a dilettante again
