His father taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Theriatis never married again.
