History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Motivation: He is greedy.
