His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mayor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dûsh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
