Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Laucian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Through the years after Laucian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Laucian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
