History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Dwarf, and stands approximately 4'3". He is typically in his Spy uniform, and his gloved hand is found clutching a club. His black hair is thinning but still full. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gardain embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He struck the Spy job and began his own company from there.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he's in love
