History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hobart alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He's in love; and wants his loneliness to end

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and is pretty ugly. He has shaved his head bald. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Shepherd but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Tharivol was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tharivol fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
