History: Sapply was born with his mother's beautiful face. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A true patriot, Varis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
