History: He comes from a rich eastern family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his left hand. He has dyed his greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is typically in his Sage uniform. He wears his auburn hair down. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. Ernest is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To be a Priest again; and further expansion of business

Description: This exceptionally lanky man is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Courier. His brown fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His eyes are copper.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Courier who has hired him part-time. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he's in love

Description: This malnourished man dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Charles is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Charles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Charles. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable
