Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Traki enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
