He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
