History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thervan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thervan. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Body Guard soon after.
