Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Arannis's homeland. Arannis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has worked as a Healer like his mother before him.

After a long history of fighting, Delg and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Through the years after Nutae was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Nutae's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
