History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to his family’s name.
