Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Gifted from a young age, Simon studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He became a Carter soon after.

History: Leaf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He worked as a nervous Mason and found it very stressful. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

His gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Kairon was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is content

History: Astar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but he was a colossal failure. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
