Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Gnarsh hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gifted from a young age, Paggen studied abroad. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
