The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: Eberdeb lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Gnome Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
