History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Borun was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Borun's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Borun and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has money and likes to spend it
