His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, River is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Locksmith, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Berrian is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
