Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Doctor. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gold eyes.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Xappan was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Barrister. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Uthemar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Uthemar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Uthemar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Eberk is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the north to a Healer, Eberk learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His divine abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He became a Healer soon after.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he is unsatisfied with his job
