Description: This northern man is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Butcher. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Butcher and was forced into it by his family.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with broad hat. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length red hair. His green unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Ribbles and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ribbles discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ribbles fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and blue, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After months of barely getting by, Oblar managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Description: This late middle aged man wears silk and lounges about seductively and is in decent physical shape. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. This green eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He bought a warhammer and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Great was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
