History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adrex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he's looking for his big break

He carries with him a set of swords, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Halimath hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Through the years after Halimath was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Halimath's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and revenge
