Thamuz Bedlam, Male Tiefling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty yellow coat over it. His purple hair is knotted and matted. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines black.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.
Flaws: Ugly, Depressed. Bonds: Immigrant, Criminal record, Military. Occupation: Layabout

Charles Gentry, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He prefers to wear brown clothing when he does not wear armor. His hair is cut close to his head. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to raise his children well
Ideals: Disciplined. Flaws: Shy. Bonds: Immigrant, Poor, Family, Has a crush. Occupation: Miner
Voice: Uses lots of figures of speech

Nuraval Graybeard, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a fancy black suit. His chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Gifted from a young age, Nuraval studied abroad. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
