Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He takes great joy in being the best Tailor in town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mindartis grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Patrick will drive conversation. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Wants a kiss.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'3" when asserting himself. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality
