History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Ombul was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Zedaar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zedaar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zedaar. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
